What You Need to Know About Applying...

  • Applications and resumes are accepted for posted positions only, unsolicited employment applications and/or resumes are not kept on file. 
  • Certain job vacancies are posted first for current employees who may have the benefit to the vacant position because of a union negotiated collective bargaining agreement.
  • Applications must be submitted electronically and received no later than 11:59 PM EST on the posting end date for each specific position.
  • Application materials are screened by the Personnel Department, those applicants who meet the minimum qualifications are referred to the hiring department for further review and consideration.  Hiring departments will contact an applicant directly if they are selected for an interview.

The Personnel Department conducts a criminal background and Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check of any selected candidate.  All job offers are conditional upon a review of the results of the criminal background report, MVR, successfully passing a pre-employment drug screen (marijuana is included), pre-employment physical, and supplying educational document(s) from accredited institution(s).
